Search Our Egg Donor Database

Even if this is not your first time reviewing an egg donor database, you may still be a little uncomfortable by the process of "shopping" for the right donor, which is completely understandable and normal.  Take your time and determine what characteristics are most important to you. Remember that each baby conceived is a NEW creation and your partners DNA still needs to be considered in conception. We believe that when you come across the right donor, you will feel a connection and everything will start to fall into place.

How do I search for my ideal donor?

• Please Login below to gain access to our database of available egg donors. If you do not have our login details, please Request a Password below.
• You can page through all our egg donors and/or use the filter available to search online for an Ethnic or Regional donor preference. Remember too that most of our donors are prepared to travel so do not discount donors from other regions.
• If you would like to send us an adult photograph of yourself, that we can assist you with your choice by comparing it to our donors adult pictures, please email Tami at info@giftovlife.comand we will gladly assist you. Many of our recipients use this method in addition to searching our donor database.
• If you would prefer for us to send you a list of ideal donor matches, please email us your criteria to Tami at info@giftovlife.com and we will email you our recommendations.
• If you are a local recipient we would encourage you to meet with us in Johannesburg or Cape Town, please email Tami at info@giftovlife.com with your contact details, and we will call you the same day. We have private consulting rooms in Woodmead Johannesburg and Sea Point in Cape Town.
• Please note, we have many recipients that are viewing the donors' profiles.  A donor is not reserved for any recipient until the formal Gift ov life donation process is completed, the donor has agreed to donate in writing and the relevent paperwork and donation criteria are met.

What do I need to be aware of when viewing Gift ov life Donors?

• Donor Pictures - if a picture is “Unavailable” it either means that the donor has no baby pictures OR that the donor is new to the database and the picture is still to be supplied. South African legislation states that no egg donor agency may show adult pictures of egg donors.
• New Donors - We add new donors daily, as they become available so if you do not find a suitable donor, be sure to return to the site regularly.
• Donors returning after donation - a donor returning after egg donation, returns to her initial position on the database and is not added to the front of the database.
• Detailed Donor Profiles - if you would like a more detailed profile on a particular donor, you have the option to request this under each donors profile to request the profile or email us on info@giftovlife.com and we will email you the requested profile/s. Our Detailed Donor Profiles are prepared according to leading fertility specialist requirements and international best practice.
• Travelling Donors - most of our donors are prepared to travel. If you choose a donor that is not based in your region of preference, please liaise with us as regards her availability to travel for you and the additional costs which will be for your account. Email Tami on info@giftovlife.com.
• Proven Donor - means that the donor has donated before. If a donor has birthed at least one of her own children, we refer to her as having proven fertility.
• Donors currently donating - if a donor is currently in a donation cycle, we remove her from our site. She may be added to the database again after her donation.
• Donors age -  at Gift ov life we want to ensure that our egg donors are as far as possible, optimal in terms of providing healthy eggs. Whilst the guidelines states that an egg donor should be between the ages of 18 and 35, all our donors are removed from our database on their 34th birthday. We do not accept donors under the legal age of 21.
